With over 20 years in the psychotherapy field, a Master's in Counselling Psychology, and three certifications in trauma therapy, I provide a safe, confidential space for individuals, couples and families to nurture positive communication and personal growth.

Betrayal Trauma Therapy

I specialize in trauma, including PTSD, sexual assault, rape, infidelity, domestic violence, and childhood sexual abuse. Most on this list are components of betrayal trauma.

I am an integrative therapist who uses a variety of modalities in which to support your healing journey. I practice from a person-centered perspective, which means that you are in control. I am your guide or GPS. You are the driver who steers and can accelerate or brake as you need.

When you choose to seek guidance, it is a sign that you have the courage and strength to acknowledge when support is needed. My goal is to work alongside you and create a compassionate, warm environment, to work through life’s challenges.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings, including wellness and support services, group and individual counselling. My educational background includes an Honours Bachelor degree in Social Work and I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

I focus on the therapeutic alliance as an important role in healing and work to support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that each individual should have a safe, non-judgmental space to express their thoughts and feelings openly.

Together we can build on your strengths and tailor treatment to your individual needs. I look forward to working alongside you through your healing journey

BA (Hons) Psychology, Master of Arts Counselling Psychology (candidate)

I have always had a passion for mental health, and wanting to help others. Seeking help is a sign of stamina and bravery, and my goal is to gently guide you toward personal growth, discovery, and healing.

My educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology from Carleton University, and I am currently completing my graduate degree in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. I hold a certificate of achievement from the University of Groningen/University of Cambridge on ‘Young People and their Mental Health’, and am completing my certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist.

Do you struggle with stress, depression, addictions, eating disorders, anxiety, and/or trauma? I would welcome an opportunity to walk with you through your healing journey. I offer an integrative approach, which is centered upon you, the client, and together we will determine therapeutic goals, aspirations, and the pace at which is best suited to making positive gains within the therapeutic process.

Adversity is often an opportunity for self-growth and discovery, with each individual unique in their needs. Achieving good mental health is a journey and a process, and reaching out for help is the first (and often most difficult) step. I look forward to working with you wherever you are at in your journey, and together taking steps toward growth and healing.
